There are salsa socials, bachata nights, and rooftop events happening every single day of the week. But finding them means scrolling through scattered Facebook groups, digging through Eventbrite, or just knowing the right people.

Go Today exists to fix that. One place, updated regularly, with the recurring weekly events and special nights that make up New York City's diverse communities.

Why did it start?

GO Latin Dance, a beloved community calendar that many NYC dancers relied on, shut down in early 2026. Go Today is an attempt to carry that forward, and eventually do more. More events, more cities, more automation so the list stays current without manual effort.

What's here now

A curated list of recurring weekly events in New York City, focused on latin dance socials. Every event is manually reviewed before being listed.

What's coming

• Event detail pages with maps, descriptions, and direct links.
• More dance styles — kizomba, afrobeats, cumbia - and other activity types.
• Other cities when the community is ready.
• User database so events can be saved & shared.
